WHO AND WHAT IS GOD

How Christ Was Creator

God speaks of the creation of the earth in the 38th chapter of Job. He says that at the creation of the earth all the angels shouted for joy (verse 7). Therefore all the angels were already in existence when the earth was first created.

In Gen.1: 1 it speaks of God creating the earth and the heavens. In the Authorized Version the word heaven -singular -is used. But the original Hebrew as Moses wrote, and as other translations render it, is in the plural -heavens - implying that the whole material Universe was created simultaneously with the earth. This is plainly stated in Gen.2: 4

These are the generations [beginnings] of the heavens [plural] and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

However the word day in this context is not necessarily a 24-hr day, but a general period of time. That might have been multiple thousands or millions of years ago. Angels were placed on earth before the creation of man. Since angels are immortal spirit beings, they might have dwelt here thousands or millions of years before the creation of man. How many God does not reveal. The earth at first, was the abode of angels. But Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation [the earth]...

Armstrong Promulgated His Own Theories

It is evident that Armstrong is here promulgating his own theories, and not those of the Bible, which he claimed was the source from which he learned! And in this he was acting no differently from "traditional Christianity" whom he accused of attempting to make Scripture fit into their false teachings, rather than allow Scripture to show what true teaching is.

For Beresheet (Genesis) 1: 1 clearly shows that the heavens and the earth were made in one day lasting 24 hours! For the duration of the first day was the same as that of the six other days of Beresheet 1: 6 - 2: 3. If Armstrong argued that day 1 was longer than 24 hours, then, to be consistent, he should have argued that days 2 to 7 were also longer than 24 hours. For they were all of the same duration, with an evening and a morning. But seeing that he does not say that days 2 to 7 were longer than 24 hours he exposes the contradictions inherent in his teaching!

Armstrong's Teaching Was False

In other words, Armstrong's teaching is FALSE! And as it is false, can it be said, as he claimed, that it came from Yah'shuah the Messiah? Can Yah'shuah the Messiah impart false teaching? Seeing that Armstrong also claimed that the teaching he taught was not received from man, would one be wrong to suggest that it came from Hasatan the devil, seeing that Hasatan the devil is the master deceiver?

Were Angels Placed On Earth Before Man's Creation?

Also, where in the Bible does it say, "angels were placed on earth before the creation of man"? Where?

This is also shown to be another of Armstrong's THEORIES! For this view has no scriptural backing, the view that angels might have dwelt on earth for thousands or millions of years before the creation of man!

The Bible clearly shows, in Beresheet 1: 1 to 2: 3 that the earth was only in its sixth day of existence at the time man inhabited it! Not thousands of years old! Not millions of years old! But only in its sixth day of age at the time man began to inhabit it! Armstrong's theory is therefore seen to have been CONTRADICTED by Scripture! Armstrong's theory is therefore seen to have been FALSE! Armstrong is therefore shown to have been preaching his own FALSE TEACHINGS, and palming these false teachings off as truth!

Armstrong Was a False Teacher

Does not this show that Armstrong was guilty of the very same charges he laid at the door of "traditional Christianity"? Does not this show that Armstrong was indeed a FALSE TEACHER?

Can Yahweh indeed have for the Eliyah at the end time one who preaches what is not correct? Can Yahweh indeed have as his Eliyah one whose words are contradicted by his own written words in Scripture? Can Yahweh have as his Eliyah one who, by his words, teaches others to disbelieve his own words as contained in Scripture?

For when Yahweh has said that he created the heavens and the earth in one day, comprising of an evening and a morning, and Armstrong says that that day was not a 24 hour day, but one lasting possibly millions of years, is not Armstrong disregarding Yahweh's words and upholding his own words? Is not Armstrong belittling Yahweh's words that his own words may be seen as truth, and Yahweh's credibility torn to smithereens?

Armstrong Not The Eliyah To Come

It appears to me that Yahweh CANNOT have for his Eliyah to come just before his great day of wrath one who does not believe his own words, and teaches others to also disbelieve Yahweh's words! Yahweh cannot have for his Eliyah one who promotes his own words as truth, when they are contradicted by Scripture, causing people to believe a lie or a false theory. The Eliyahs who came it times past preached Yahweh's words, and did their works at Yahweh's command. Scripture did not contradict their works. Their works were in harmony with Scripture.

Yet Armstrong's words are clearly contradicted by Scripture! It should therefore be clear that Armstrong was NOT the Eliyah to come, his claims to the same notwithstanding! Armstrong, by preaching erroneous teachings, by causing people to believe a lie, thereby causing Yahweh's words to come into disrepute, showed himself to have been a FALSE TEACHER! False teachers are NOT the Eliyah to come before Yah'shuah's second coming. False teachers simply belong to their father, Hasatan the devil!

Armstrong Promoted False Unprovable Theories

Armstrong quotes Jude 6 as proof that the angels first abode was the earth, implying that they were the earth's first inhabitants for several thousands or millions of years before man inhabited the earth. Yet Beresheet 1 clearly shows that this is IMPOSSIBLE, seeing that the earth was only in its sixth day of age when man began to inhabit it. Armstrong's theory is therefore seen to have been just that - a THEORY!

In other words, the very charges Armstrong laid at the door of higher education, for promulgating theories of the non-existence of Yahweh, and of evolution, are equally valid with respect to Armstrong. For not only is his theory unprovable, it is refuted by Scripture.

So whom should one believe? Yahweh's word in Scripture, or Armstrong's words which he promoted as truth?

It is clearly evident that Armstrong was not preaching Yahweh's words contained in Scripture in these theorems of his that he was promoting and palming off as truth!

Counterfeit Gospel

By the 6th decade of the 1st century, much of the Middle East had turned from the true gospel to a counterfeit (Gal.1: 6-7). As late as the 90's AD the apostle John was still living. He wrote the book of Rev. on the Isle of Patmos. A little later the Church started by Simon in AD33 was trying to turn the true Christian Passover (Christ had changed its form from that of sacrificial lambs to unleavened bread and wine) into Babylonian ceremony, now called in English "Easter" - named after the goddess Astarte or Ishtar (pronounced Easter in some Semitic dialects).

The Messiah Did Not Change The Form Of The Passover

Mattityahu (Matthew) 5: 17-20 reads, "5:17Don't think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill. 5:18For most assuredly, I tell you, until Heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. 5:19Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 5:20For I tell you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Sofrim and Perushim, there is no way you shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven."

In saying that the Messiah had "changed" the form of the Passover "from that of sacrificial lambs to unleavened bread and wine" Armstrong unwittingly laid some very serious charges against the Messiah!

For Yah'shuah said in Mattityahu 5: 18 that not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke would in any way pass away from the law prior to all things being accomplished. He also showed in the same verse that the time for the accomplishment of "all things" was when "heaven and earth pass away". Seeing that heaven and earth have not yet passed away, it is clearly evident that NOTHING has passed away from the law!

In other words, the requirement for sacrificial lambs on the Passover was NEVER CHANGED! For how could Yah'shuah say that nothing would pass away from the law prior to heaven and earth passing away, and then subsequently remove the requirement of the sacrificial lamb on the Passover? Was Yah'shuah contradicting himself?

Scriptural analysis of the events of Yah'shuah's last days before his death show that he did indeed observe the Passover according to its commandment. AFTER the Passover he instituted the eating of unleavened bread and the drinking of wine and the washing of feet. He did not change any of the provisions to do with the Passover. He observed it according to its commandment. The bread, wine and washing were NEW commandments he gave his disciples, not revocations of existing commandments!

In this Armstrong is seen to have been contradicted by both Yah'shuah's practice and Yah'shuah's words! He is seen to have promulgated his own theories, and not what Yah'shuah himself taught and commanded his disciples to teach!

Would Yahweh send an Eliyah who is contradicted by Yah'shuah's words and conduct? Did not the Eliyahs who came in times past do everything they did at Yahweh's command? Then why was Armstrong doing and teaching differently? Was it that he indeed was NOT the Eliyah to come, but just one who palmed himself off as one? Is not Armstrong seen as a FALSE ELIYAH, a FALSE PROPHET, portraying himself as the true Eliyah and a true prophet?
