Mankind was making
progress in material development even though growing further from God
spiritually. But remember at this point, that "except the Lord build
the house, they labour in vain that build it" (Ps. 127:1). Also in
Matthew 7:24-27, a house built on a faulty foundation is bound to fall.
The House of Armstrong Fell According To Yahweh's
Word
Speaking with hindsight it is indeed evident that none of Yahweh's words
fall to the ground. The House of Armstrong, the various works that Armstrong
worked, including the Worldwide Church of God and
For it is evident that these teachings that Armstrong is promoting in this book, foundational teachings for his various works, were not of Yahweh! Any works founded on such teachings therefore would in due course come to nought! Yahweh's words stand!
The subject matter of
the chapter is the generations ancestry of Noah. Exceeding wickedness had
developed through those generations, by Noah's generation reaching a climactic
crisis that ended that world.
What was this universal
evil and corruption? Jesus described that universal, corrupt evil as
"eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage" (Matt. 24:38).
Eating food and drinking is not evil. Marrying is not evil in itself. There had
to be wrong use and excess in eating, drinking and marrying--the evil
was in the manner, and in the extent of eating, drinking and marrying.
It could only be eating
improper food, drinking excessively of alcoholic drinks, revelings (Gal. 5:21),
rioting, violence. Marrying, to be evil, had to be as in Genesis 6:2, when
men "took them wives of all which they chose." There was rampant and
universal interracial marriage--so exceedingly universal that Noah,
only, was unblemished or perfect in his generations--his ancestry. He was of
the original white strain.
Armstrong Twisted Yah'shuah's Words
Mattityahu 24: 32-39 reads, "24:32Now from the
fig tree learn her parable. When its branch
has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer
is near. 24:33Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it
is near, even at the doors. 24:34Most assuredly I
tell you, this race will not pass away, until all these things are
accomplished. 24:35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass
away. 24:36But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels
of Heaven, but my Father only. 24:37As the days of Noach, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 24:38For as in those days which were before the flood they were
eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noach
entered into the ark, 24:39and they didn't
know until the flood came, and took them all
away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."
The context of Yah'shuah's words in Mattityahu 24: 38 concerns the inhabitants of the earth being aware of the end of their age while they were alive. For verse 36 has already shown that no one knows the timing of "that day and hour" except Yah'shuah's Father. And just as human beings did not know the timing of the flood in their age, so also will human beings not know the timing of the coming of the Son of Man! And just as human beings, in their ignorance of the timing of the flood, went about their normal activities, including "eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage", so also will the inhabitants of the earth do just before the coming of the Son of Man. The context of Mattityahu 24: 38 concerns the awareness of the end of the age of the inhabitants of the earth just before the end of the age.
It does not, as Armstrong TWISTS IT, refer to men committing evil in engaging in "eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage"! So why does Armstrong twist this scripture to say what it does not? Is he trying to foist on his readers another of his theories, theories not backed up by Scripture, but in fact negated by Yahweh's word?
Armstrong Twisted Beresheet 6: 2
Beresheet 6: 1-2 reads, "6:1It happened, when men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them, 6:2that the Mighty One's sons saw that men's daughters were beautiful, and they took for themselves wives of all that they chose."
Armstrong says, "men 'took them wives of all which they chose.'" Yet Beresheet 6: 2 clearly shows that those who took for themselves wives of all that they chose were NOT MEN! They were "the Mighty One's sons"!
Beresheet 6: 1-2 clearly makes a DISTINCTION between "men" and "the Mighty One's sons". For the daughters whom "the Mighty One's sons" took as wives were daughters born to men. The daughters were therefore human beings, just as men are indeed human beings.
Beresheet 6: 2 clearly shows that these daughters WERE NOT daughters born to "the Mighty One's sons". For they are referred to as "men's daughters". It therefore appears that these "Mighty One's sons" were not men!
Who The "Mighty One's Sons" Were
Various scriptures identify these "Mighty One's sons" as angels! Such scriptures include Psalm 29: 1-2; Psalm 82: 6-7; Iyov 1: 6-7; Iyov 2: 1-2 and Iyov 38: 1-7. It is therefore angels - the profane angels inhabiting the earth - who took women for wives and had them produce progeny for them.
Beresheet 6: 4 reads, " 6:4The Nefilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the Mighty One's sons came to men's daughters. They bore children to them. The same were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."
Thus Yahweh's word clearly shows that the children women bore to the Mighty One's sons were the Nefilim, while the children women bore to men were "sons and daughters", as various preceding scriptures in Beresheet show. Such scriptures include the whole of Beresheet 5.
Armstrong Refused To Believe Yahweh
Why did Armstrong REFUSE to believe Yahweh's words in scripture, yet he was indeed aware that angels are referred to in Scripture as sons of the Mighty One? And why did he cause those he taught to disbelieve Yahweh's words, for he taught them that the Mighty One's sons were men, when in fact they were angels? Why did not Armstrong believe Yahweh, yet he claimed that Yah'shuah the Messiah taught him through the Bible?
Instead of believing the true scriptural account, he brings in a FABLE. He TWISTS the scripture to say that men took wives of different races to themselves! Armstrong was evidently not a servant of Yah'shuah. For Yah'shuah's servants believe his words, and do not twist them to say what they do not say! Armstrong was serving another master - Hasatan the devil, who also twists Yahweh's words to say what they do not!
Armstrong Said Interracial Marriage Was Evil
Armstrong then alleges that interracial marriage is evil!
But where does he get this theory? Where in the scriptures, if indeed in the scriptures, is interracial marriage condemned as evil?
The rationale he offers here for condemning interracial marriage is his twisting of the scriptures! He disbelieves what Yahweh says in Beresheet 6: 2, and twists Beresheet 6: 2 to say what it does not! He then uses his twisted scripture to condemn interracial marriage!
Armstrong Said Noach "Was Of The Original
White Strain"
Armstrong also alleges that Noah "was of the original white strain"! Where in the scriptures are we told that Adam was "white"? Where? And where are we told that Noah was white? Where?
Armstrong is just giving us his own conjectures! He is offering NO PROOF! And he expects people to believe both his theories and his conjectures!
Should we base our beliefs on Armstrong's theories and conjectures, or should we base our beliefs on Yahweh's word?
It is amply evident
that by the time of Noah there were at least the three primary or major racial
strains on earth, the white, yellow and black, although interracial marriage
produced many racial mixtures.
Armstrong Failed To Give Evidence For His
Assertions
Where is the ample evidence that Armstrong is talking about? Has he referred to it in this book of his? If not, why not? Where is the evidence?
Armstrong Said That Adam, Israel And Jesus Were
White
God does not reveal in
the Bible the precise origin of the different races. It is evident that
Adam and Eve were created white. God's chosen nation Israel was white. Jesus
was white. But it is a fair conjecture that in mother Eve were created
ovaries containing the yellow and black genes, as well as white, so that some
of the children of Adam and Eve gave rise to black, yellow, as well as white.
The one man God chose to
PRESERVE the human race alive after the Flood was perfect in his
generations--all his ancestry back to Adam was of the one strain, and undoubtedly
that happened to be white--not that white is in any sense superior.
Where is the EVIDENCE that Adam and Chavah (Eve) were created white? Where is the EVIDENCE that Yisrael was white? Where is the EVIDENCE that Yah'shuah was white? Where is the EVIDENCE that the entire racial strain from Adam to Noach was white? Where is the EVIDENCE?
Armstrong is just making WILD assertions here without giving any evidence! If he has no evidence he should simply KEEP QUIET!
And why does he say that the ancestry from Noach to Adam was "undoubtedly" white? Where is his PROOF to cast out any DOUBT? Where is his proof?
Armstrong offers NO PROOF, NO EVIDENCE, yet expects his readers to believe everything he says! On what basis? Because he is Armstrong? Or because he has hoodwinked them that he is the Eliyah to come? Or because he has hoodwinked them into believing that Yah'shuah the Messiah taught him these things he is writing here? Or because he has hoodwinked them into believing that the Holy Spirit inspired these things he writes here?
Madness! Madness! Madness!
Should we base our belief on a man - a man whose words are CONTRADICTED by Yahweh's words? Should we?
Madness!
And why does Armstrong introduce the notion of the superiority of any race, and specifically the white one? Why? Did he have any racist tendencies? If not, why is he introducing this notion in his book?
Armstrong Twisted Devarim 32: 8
God originally set the
bounds of national borders, intending nations to be SEPARATED to prevent
interracial marriage. Notice, "When the Most High divided to the
nations their inheritance [speaking of land or geographical boundaries], when
he separated, [notice--he separated] the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the
people..." (Deut. 32:8).
Devarim 32: 7-9 reads, " 32:7Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations:
Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your Zakenim, and they will tell you.
32:8When HaElyon gave to the nations their inheritance,
When he separated the children of men,
He set the bounds of the peoples
According to the number of the children of Yisra'el.
32:9For Yahweh's portion is his people;
Ya`akov is the lot of his inheritance."
Devarim 32: 8 shows us that HaElyon, the Most High, separated the children of men, and set the bounds of the peoples, "according to the number of the children of Yisrael". It says NOTHING about the races! And it mentions only one nation, the children of Yisrael.
Is Armstrong suggesting that the children of Yisrael are one race, and all the rest of men other races? And since he says they are white, is he suggesting that all whites are the children of Yisrael? And those of other races are therefore non-Yisraelites?
Again we see Armstrong TWISTING scripture to say what it does not say! Armstrong repeatedly twists scripture to say what it does not say, in an effort to propagate his own theories that are not backed up by Yahweh's word!
Beresheet 11 gives us the account of the time Yahweh separated the children of men. It was at Bavel.
Beresheet 11: 1-9 reads, " 11:1The whole earth was of one language and of one speech. 11:2It happened, as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shin`ar; and they lived there. 11:3They said one to another, 'Come, let's make brick, and burn them thoroughly.' They had brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. 11:4They said, 'Come, let's build us a city, and a tower, whose top reaches to the sky, and let's make us a name; lest we be scattered abroad on the surface of the whole earth.'
11:5Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. 11:6Yahweh said, 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do. Now nothing will be withheld from them, which they intend to do. 11:7Come, let's go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.' 11:8So Yahweh scattered them abroad from there on the surface of all the earth. They stopped building the city. 11:9Therefore the name of it was called Bavel, because Yahweh confused the language of all the earth, there. From there, Yahweh scattered them abroad on the surface of all the earth."
Yahweh makes NO REFERENCE to scattering men abroad on the surface of all the earth because they were of different races, as Armstrong alleges. If anything, Yahweh says in Beresheet 11: 6 that "they are ONE PEOPLE"! Therefore one cannot construe the existence of different races at Bavel as the reason Yahweh scattered the men abroad on the surface of all the earth!
Yahweh Contradicts Armstrong's Words
Seeing that Yahweh has given HIS REASON for scattering men abroad on the surface of the earth, that is the reason we should use, and not Armstrong's fallacious theories that are contradicted by Yahweh's words. For the reason Yahweh scattered men, and set their bounds, was, according to Devarim 32: 8, based on the number of the children of Yisrael! And yet when this scattering of men was taking place, Yisrael had not even been born!
In other words, Yahweh has a plan he is working out over here on earth, and he was making provision for the fulfilment of that plan before even the coming into existence of the people through whom he would fulfil his plan! How farsighted Yahweh is! Praise Yahweh! Halleluyah!
It is evident that Yahweh's ways are supremely higher than Armstrong's fallacious and denigrating theories! Armstrong was just a false apostle, a false prophet, simply serving his master Hasatan the devil, and NOT serving Yah'shuah the Messiah as he claimed!
Armstrong Made Wild Conjectures
Noah was of perfect
lineage in his generations. His wife and three sons were of that same white
strain. But Japheth evidently had married an Oriental woman, and Ham
a black.
Where is the PROOF and EVIDENCE of these WILD CONJECTURES? Where is the proof and evidence?
God had set the bounds
of the nations, intending geographical segregation of the races.
Armstrong again repeats his theories, not supported by Yahweh's word, and has still offered no proof for them! The only "proof" he has offered are TWISTED scriptures! And he expects his readers to believe his theories based on twisted scriptures!
Armstrong Propagated Theories Without
Offering Proof
These people were not
only of one language, they were of three races or families--white, yellow
and black. Just as God created varieties in many species of flowers and of
animals--for example, many varieties and colors of roses--for greater beauty,
so God created the three races and colors of human skin. God intended to
prevent racial intermarriages. But man has always wanted to violate God's
laws, intentions and ways. They wanted to become one race or family through
intermarriage of races. As mentioned before, God had set the bounds of the
races, providing for geographical segregation, in peace and harmony but without
discrimination. But the people wanted to be of one amalgamated people.
One purpose for the tower of Babel was to unite them, and to prevent them from
being scattered in racial geographical segregation.
Armstrong is again propagating his theories without offering proof for his wild assertions! Where is the proof that men were already of three races at Bavel, "white, yellow and black"? Where is the proof? Armstrong offers none, yet expects his readers to believe him, presumably because he is Armstrong!
Armstrong says that Yahweh "intended to prevent racial intermarriages". Yet Yahweh gives no such reason for separating the men and scattering them abroad over the surface of the earth!
Armstrong says, "the people wanted to be of one amalgamated people". Yet Yahweh says in Beresheet 11: 6 that they were "one people"! Why should the people want "to be of one amalgamated people" when they were ALREADY "one people"?
Armstrong is here seen to be TALKING NONSENSE! Madness! Complete madness his words are! For his words are CONTRADICTED by Yahweh's words!
So whom should we believe? Armstrong's nonsensical and fallacious theories, or Yahweh's words of truth? Who should we believe?
Armstrong expected his readers to believe him, for he claimed to be the Eliyah to come! For he claimed to be the Messiah's apostle? For he claimed to have been taught by Yah'shuah the Messiah?
Yet his words are contradicted by Yahweh's words! And seeing that his words are contradicted by Yahweh's words, how can they have originated from Yahweh or Yah'shuah? They evidently DID NOT! Armstrong's words either came from his own head, or they came from Hasatan, seeing that Armstrong claimed that he was not taught his words by humans! Armstrong is therefore proven to have been a minister of Hasatan! Armstrong is therefore proven to have been DEVOID of Yahweh's Holy Spirit!
As the flood waters
evaporated the whole earth consisted of the one family of Noah. But Shem,
who was white and married to a white woman, started his own family. Ham,
married to a black woman, had black children and began his own family. Japheth,
married to a yellow woman, started his own family, which were of yellow
extraction. The early history recorded in the Bible speaks of
"families," rather than "races."
Again, where is Armstrong's proof for his statements pertaining to the races of the spouses of Shem, Cham and Yefet, and their children? Armstrong offers no proof, yet expects to be believed!
Armstrong Failed To Learn From Scriptural Example
Armstrong CORRECTLY notes that the Bible speaks of "families", rather than "races". Having seen this, why does he not follow the example set for him in the Bible? Why must he tamper with the scriptural record, and depart from it, and start talking fallaciously about matters that Scripture does not speak about?
It would have been prudent if Armstrong had learned from the example Scripture gave him, rather than veer off into his own theories that are NEGATED by Yahweh's word!
