COMMENTARY
ON SOME OF YAH'SHUAH'S WORDS ON MARRIAGE
Angels Married Women In The Days Of Noah
Luke 20:34-36 reads,
20:34Jesus
said to them, "The sons of this age marry, and
are given in marriage. 20:35But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and
the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. 20:36For neither can
they die any more, for they are like the
angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Genesis 6:1-4 reads,
6:1It
happened, when men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and
daughters were born to them, 6:2that
God’s sons saw that men’s daughters were beautiful, and they took for
themselves wives of all that they chose. 6:3Yahweh said, "My spirit will not strive
with man forever, because he also is flesh; yet will his days be one hundred
twenty years." 6:4The Nephilim
were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God’s sons came to
men’s daughters. They bore children to them: the same were the mighty men who
were of old, men of renown.
Marrying
And Giving In Marriage Is An Activity For Mortals
Don't Yah'shuah's words suggest that angels are sons of Yahweh, seeing that they are like humans who attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead and who are sons of Yahweh? Don't Yah'shuah's words show that sons of Yahweh cannot die when they are like angels? And don't Yah'shuah's words also show that marrying and being given in marriage is for this age when people die, and not for that age when people - the sons of Yahweh - do not die? In other words, don't Yah'shuah's words suggest that marrying and being given in marriage is a practice for the age of mortality and not for the age of immortality, being engaged in by those who are mortal and not by those who are immortal?
Did The
Angels Who Married Women In The Days Of Noah Lose Their Immortality?
Doesn't Genesis 6 show that Yahweh's sons - angels - married human women, who bore them the Nephilim, the mighty men of old, men of renown? Does this mean that these angels who married forsook their estate of angels who do not marry? Does this mean that these angels who married departed from their immortal state and descended to a mortal state, seeing that marrying and giving in marriage is a practice for those who are mortal and not for those who are immortal? Does this mean that these angels who married have either died, or will in due course die, seeing that they partook of a practice of mortals that is not partaken of by those who are immortal?
Matthew 22:1-14 reads,
22:1Jesus
answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying, 22:2"The
Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his
son, 22:3and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to
the marriage feast, but they would not come.
22:4Again
he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, "Behold,
I have made ready my dinner. My oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things
are ready. Come to the marriage feast!"’ 22:5But they made light
of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise, 22:6and the rest
grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them. 22:7But the king was
angry, and he sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their
city.
22:8"Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready,
but those who were invited weren't worthy. 22:9Go therefore to the
intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the
marriage feast.’ 22:10Those servants
went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both
bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests. 22:11But when the king
came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding
clothing, 22:12and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not
having wedding clothing?’ He was speechless. 22:13Then the king said
to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the
outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’ 22:14For many are
called, but few chosen."
Matthew 25:1-13 reads,
25:1"Then the
Luke 12:35-40 reads,
12:35"Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning. 12:36Be like men
looking for their lord, when he will return from the marriage feast;
that, when he comes and knocks, they may immediately open to him. 12:37Blessed are those
servants, whom the lord will find watching when he comes. Most assuredly I tell
you, that he will dress himself, and make them recline, and will come and serve
them. 12:38They will be blessed if he comes in the second or third
watch, and finds them so. 12:39But know this, that if the master of the house had known in
what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his
house to be broken into. 12:40Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in
an hour that you don’t expect him."
Questions
Concerning Yah'shuah's Marriage Feast
Who are those invited by the King of the kingdom of heaven to the marriage feast of the son of the King? Who are the ones initially invited but were found not to be worthy? Who are the ones subsequently invited to the marriage feast? What is the wedding clothing referred to in Matthew 22?
Who are the virgins to meet the bridegroom and go with him to the marriage feast? Who are the virgins who are ready and go with the bridegroom to the marriage feast?
Who are the servants Yah'shuah returns to after the marriage feast?
Being
Clothed With Power From On High
Luke 24:46-49 reads,
24:46He
said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was
necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 24:47and that
repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the
nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 24:48You are witnesses of these things. 24:49Behold, I send
forth the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until
you are clothed with power from on high."
Weren't Yah'shuah's followers to be clothed with power from on high while they were waiting in Jerusalem? Weren't they clothed with power from on high on the day of Pentecost, as seen in Acts 2, when the Holy Spirit came upon them? Isn't the power from on high the Holy Spirit? Isn't the clothing the Holy Spirit?
Yah'shuah's
Disciples Are Clothed With The Holy Spirit
Acts 1:4-5 reads,
1:4Being
assembled together with them, he charged them, "Don’t
depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard
from me. 1:5For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized
in the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
Acts 2:1-12 reads,
2:1Now
when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2Suddenly there came from the
sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house
where they were sitting. 2:3Tongues
like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and it sat on each one of
them. 2:4They were all filled with
the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave
them the ability to speak. 2:5Now
there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the
sky. 2:6When this sound was heard,
the multitude came together, and were bewildered, because everyone heard them
speaking in his own language. 2:7They
were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, "Behold, aren’t all
these who speak Galileans? 2:8How do
we hear, everyone in our own native language? 2:9Parthians,
Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, 2:10Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of
Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 2:11Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking
in our languages the mighty works of God!" 2:12They
were all amazed, and were perplexed, saying one to another, "What does
this mean?"
What Do
The Clothing Of White Garments Refer To?
Revelation 3:17-19 reads,
3:17Because you say, ‘I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have
need of nothing;’ and don’t know that you are the wretched one, miserable,
poor, blind, and naked; 3:18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you
may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that
the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint
your eyes, that you may see.
Are these white garments synonymous with the Holy Spirit, or do they refer to something else?
Revelation 16:15 reads,
16:15"Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches,
and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’t walk naked, and they see his shame."
Which clothes are these that Yah'shuah refers to - the Holy Spirit or something else?
What Do
White, Pure, Fine Linen Clothing Signify?
Revelation 19:11-16 reads,
19:11I
saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is
called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war. 19:12His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his
head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one
knows but he himself. 19:13He is
clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called "The Word of
God." 19:14The armies which are
in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.
19:15Out of his mouth proceeds a
sharp, two-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule
them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath
of God, the Almighty. 19:16He has on
his garment and on his thigh a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF
LORDS."
What do the white, pure, fine linen clothing of the armies in heaven signify?
Those
Dressed In White Garments Are Pure And Holy
Revelation 3:4-5 reads,
3:4Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that did not
defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. 3:5He who overcomes
will be arrayed like this in white garments,
and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess
his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Isn't it sin that brings about the defiling of a thing? Doesn't this imply that those in Sardis who did not defile their garments did not partake of sin? Doesn't this also mean that those who walk with Yah'shuah in white garments are those who are pure and holy, devoid of sin?
The
Twenty-Four Elders Around Yahweh's Throne Are Dressed In White Garments
Revelation 4:1-4 reads,
4:1After
these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that
I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, "Come up here,
and I will show you the things which must happen after this." 4:2Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold,
there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne 4:3that looked like a jasper stone and a
sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at. 4:4Around the throne were twenty-four thrones.
On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments,
with crowns of gold on their heads.
Being
Dressed In White Robes Signifies Faithfulness To Yahweh
Revelation 6:9-11 reads,
6:9When
he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who
had been killed for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.
6:10They cried with a loud voice,
saying, "How long, Master, the holy and true, do you not judge and avenge
our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" 6:11There was given to each one of them a white
robe. It was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time,
until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even
as they were, had been fulfilled.
Aren't white robes or garments given to those who have proved true and faithful to Yahweh and Yah'shuah? Doesn't white garments signify truthfulness and faithfulness to Yahweh and Yah'shuah?
Those
Dressed In White Robes Have Been Forgiven Their Sins
Revelation 7:9-17 reads,
7:9After
these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could
number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing
before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with
palm branches in their hands. 7:10They
cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the
throne, and to the Lamb."
7:11All
the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living
creatures; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, 7:12saying, "Amen! Blessing, glory,
wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever!
Amen."
7:13One
of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are arrayed in white
robes, who are they, and where did they come from?"
7:14I
told him, "My lord, you know."
He said to me, "These are those who
came out of the great oppression. They washed their robes, and made them white
in the Lamb’s blood. 7:15Therefore
are they before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple.
He who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. 7:16They will never be hungry, neither thirsty
any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat; 7:17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the
throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to living springs of waters.
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Aren't those who are clothed in white robes those who have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb? Those who have been forgiven their sins and are therefore holy and pure? Aren't these those who demonstrated by their faithfulness and loyalty in the great oppression that they love Yahweh and Yah'shuah more than they do their own lives? That they are not idolaters?
The
Identity Of Those Invited To Yah'shuah's Marriage Feast
Is it therefore the case that the wedding clothing is both the Holy Spirit and righteousness, purity and holiness? Is it therefore the case that those invited to the marriage feast of the son of the King of the kingdom of heaven are human beings from every nation, tribe, people and languages?
Revelation 14:1-5 reads,
14:1I
saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him one hundred
forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on
their foreheads. 14:2I
heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of
a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpers playing on
their harps. 14:3They sing something
like a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the
elders. None could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand,
those who had been redeemed out of the earth. 14:4These
are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These
are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by
Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. 14:5In their mouth was found no lie. They are
without fault.
The
144,000 Are The Virgins Of Matthew 25
Isn't it the case that these virgins follow the Lamb -Yah'shuah - wherever he goes? Isn't Yah'shuah the son of the Yahweh, the King of the kingdom of heaven? Doesn't Matthew 25 show that the virgins wait for Yah'shuah and accompany him to the marriage feast? Aren't the virgins of Matthew 25 the same as the virgins of Revelation 14, the 144,000 redeemed out of the earth, the first fruits to Yahweh and to the Lamb? Aren't these 144,000 pure and holy, without defilement or lie or fault?
The
144,000 Virgins Are Not Necessarily Women But Are Pure And Undefiled
Isn't it the case that these virgins are not necessarily women, seeing that they are not defiled with women? Doesn't this mean that they have not defiled themselves through prostitution, seeing that the only manner a man can be sexually defiled with a woman is when she is not his wife?
Wasn't it seen that prostitution refers not only to physical prostitution, but also to idolatry? Doesn't this therefore mean that these 144,000, who are not necessarily women, are not defiled by idolatry, but are those who faithfully worship Yahweh and serve Yah'shuah?
The
144,000 Are From The Children Of Israel
Revelation 7:1-8 reads,
7:1After
this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the
four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the
sea, or on any tree. 7:2I saw another
angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He
cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the
earth and the sea, 7:3saying,
"Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed
the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!" 7:4I heard the number of those who were sealed,
one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of
Israel:
7:5Of
the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
7:6Of
the tribe of Asher twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Naphtali twelve
thousand,
Of the tribe of Manasseh twelve
thousand,
7:7Of
the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Issachar twelve
thousand,
7:8Of
the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand,
Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed
twelve thousand.
Aren't the 144,000 the bondservants of Yahweh, serving Yahweh faithfully without going astray into idolatry or prostitution?
What
The Seal Of The Living Mighty One Upon The 144,000 Is
What is the seal of the living Mighty One with which they are sealed?
Doesn't Revelation 14:1 show that on their foreheads, where they are sealed, is written the name of the Lamb and of his Father? Doesn't this imply that the seal of the living Mighty One is the name of Yahweh and Yah'shuah - the Father and the Lamb?
Answers
To Questions Concerning Yah'shuah's Marriage Feast
Seeing that it appears that the virgins mentioned in Matthew 25 are the same virgins mentioned in Revelation 7 and 14, isn't it the case that it is these 144,000 who are married to Yah'shuah at his marriage feast? Doesn't it also appear that those among the innumerable multitude with white robes are the guests invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb? And seeing that after the Lamb's marriage feast he returns back to the earth, isn't it the case that those servants he finds on the earth upon his return are human beings still alive at that time? Isn't it the case that humans serving Yah'shuah at the time of his return to earth will neither belong to his bride nor to the guests invited to his marriage feast?
Additional
Information Concerning The 144,000
Mark 4:26-29 reads,
4:26He
said, "So is the kingdom of God, as if a man
should cast seed on the earth, 4:27and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should
spring up and grow, he doesn’t know how. 4:28For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear,
then the full grain in the ear. 4:29But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts forth the
sickle, because the harvest has come."
Matthew 13:24-30 reads,
13:24He
set another parable before them, saying, "The
13:28"He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’
"The servants
asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’
13:29"But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the
darnel, you root up the wheat with them. 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers,
"First, gather up the darnel, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but
gather the wheat into my barn."’"
Matthew 13:34-43 reads,
13:34Jesus
spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he
didn’t speak to them, 13:35that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
"I will open my mouth in parables;
I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world."
13:36Then
Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to
him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the
field."
13:37He
answered them, "He who sows the good seed is
the Son of Man, 13:38the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons
of the kingdom; and the darnel are the sons
of the evil one. 13:39The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the
end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 13:40As therefore the
darnel is gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be in the end of this
age. 13:41The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather
out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity, 13:42and will cast them
into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth. 13:43Then the righteous
will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
Isn't it clear that the 144,000 who are the first fruits redeemed from among men are also the sons of the kingdom mentioned by Yah'shuah in Matthew 13? Aren't these sons of the kingdom the righteous who are harvested as the first fruits at the end of the age?
Events
Taking Place At The End Of The Age
Revelation 19 reads,
19:1After
these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in
heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our
God: 19:2for true and righteous are
his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, her who corrupted the
earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants
at her hand."
19:3A
second time they said, "Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and
ever." 19:4The twenty-four
elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on
the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!" 19:5A
voice came forth from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all you
his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!"
19:6I
heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many
waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! For
the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns! 19:7Let
us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For
the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready." 19:8It was given to her that she would array
herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous
acts of the saints.
19:9He
said to me, "Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage
supper of the Lamb.’" He said to me, "These are true words of God."
19:10I
fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, "Look! Don’t do
it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the
testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of
Prophecy."
19:11I
saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is
called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war. 19:12His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his
head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one
knows but he himself. 19:13He is
clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called "The Word of
God." 19:14The armies which
are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.
19:15Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp,
two-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them
with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of
God, the Almighty. 19:16He has on
his garment and on his thigh a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF
LORDS."
19:17I
saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the
birds that fly in the sky, "Come! Be gathered together to the great supper
of God, 19:18that you may eat the
flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh
of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and
slave, and small and great." 19:19I
saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together
to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army. 19:20The beast was taken, and with him the
false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those
who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. They
two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 19:21The rest were killed with the sword of him
who sat on the horse, the sword which came forth out of his mouth. All the
birds were filled with their flesh.
The Marriage
Of The Lamb Takes Place In Heaven Before He Returns To Earth
Isn't it clear that the marriage of the Lamb takes place in heaven before his return to earth at the head of his great army? Isn't it also clear that the garments of the 144,000 - the Lamb's wife - are made of bright, pure, fine linen - which are their righteous deeds? Isn't it also clear that the Lamb's wife, the 144,000 virgins, are part of his army on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen, seeing that these virgins follow the Lamb wherever he goes? Isn't it also clear that the Lamb's wife will assist him in defeating the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies?
The
Marriage Of The Lamb Is A Polygynous Marriage
Isn't it clear that the Lamb's wife is made up of 144,000 virgins - redeemed from the twelve tribes of Israel? Isn't it clear that the marriage supper of the Lamb is for a polygynous marriage, seeing that the Lamb - Yah'shuah, is marrying 144,000 virgins? Isn't it therefore crystal clear that polygyny is indeed of Yahweh, seeing his participation in the polygynous marriage of his son, Yah'shuah?
Yah'shuah's
Revelation Concerning His Marriage
Revelation 1:1-3 reads,
1:1This
is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the
things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his
angel to his servant, John, 1:2who
testified to God’s word, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything
that he saw.
1:3Blessed
is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the
things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.
Revelation 22:6-21 reads,
22:6He
said to me, "These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of
the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show to his servants the things
which must happen soon."
22:7"Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the
words of the prophecy of this book."
22:8Now
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I
fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these
things. 22:9He said to me, "See
you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the
prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
22:10He said to me, "Don’t
seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 22:11He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly
still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him
do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still."
22:12"Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay
to each man according to his work. 22:13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the
Beginning and the End. 22:14Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have
the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 22:15Outside are the
dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and
everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 22:16I, Jesus, have sent my angel to
testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring
of David; the Bright and Morning Star."
22:17The
Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say,
"Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take
the water of life freely. 22:18I
testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if
anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this
book. 22:19If anyone takes away from
the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the
tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. 22:20He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly."
