8:30Listen you to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling-place; and when you hear, forgive.

8:37If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague, whatever sickness there be; ^8:38whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: ^8:39then hear in heaven, your dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men;) ^8:40that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.

24:1In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. ^24:2Yahweh sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by his servants the prophets. ^24:3Surely at the commandment of Yahweh came this on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did, ^24:4and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Yahweh would not pardon.

7:12Yahweh appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice. ^7:13If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; ^7:14if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ^7:15Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive, to the prayer that is made in this place. ^7:16For now have I chosen and made this house holy, that my name may be there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

30:15Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of Yahweh. ^30:16They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites. ^30:17For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites had the charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh. ^30:18For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, The good Yahweh pardon everyone ^30:19who sets his heart to seek God, Yahweh, the God of his fathers, though not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. ^30:20Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.

9:16But they and our fathers dealt proudly and hardened their neck, and didn’t listen to your commandments, ^9:17and refused to obey, neither were mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and didn’t forsake them.

19:13Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins.
Let them not have dominion over me.

Then I will be upright,
I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.

25:15My eyes are ever on Yahweh,
For he will pluck my feet out of the net.

32:6For this, let everyone that is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found.
Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.

79:8Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us.
Let your tender mercies speedily meet us,
For we are in desperate need.

85:1Yahweh, you have been favorable to your land.
You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.

6:1In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple. ^6:2Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew. ^6:3One called to another, and said,

"Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Hosts!
The whole earth is full of his glory!"

5:1Run you back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places of it, if you can find a man, if there are any who does justly, who seeks truth; and I will pardon her. ^5:2Though they say, As Yahweh lives; surely they swear falsely. ^5:3O Yahweh, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved; you have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. ^5:4Then I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish; for they don’t know the way of Yahweh, nor the law of their God: ^5:5I will get me to the great men, and will speak to them; for they know the way of Yahweh, and the law of their God. But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds. ^5:6Therefore a lion out of the forest shall kill them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; everyone who goes out there shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, and their backsliding is increased. ^5:7How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the prostitutes’ houses. ^5:8They were as fed horses roaming at large; everyone neighed after his neighbor’s wife. ^5:9Shall I not visit for these things? says Yahweh; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

31:31Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: ^31:32not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says Yahweh. ^31:33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people: ^31:34and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh; for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

33:7I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. ^33:8I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against me, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

36:1It happened in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, that this word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying, ^36:2Take a scroll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day. ^36:3It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do to them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

16:59For thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will also deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant. ^16:60Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant. ^16:61Then shall you remember your ways, and be ashamed, when you shall receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant. ^16:62I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh; ^16:63that you may remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more, because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the Lord Yahweh.

7:20You will give truth to Jacob,
and mercy to Abraham,
As you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
