CHAPTER 3 - NEW PROOF OF THE
TWO WITNESSES
Does Psalm 110 Talk Of
Three Thrones Or Two?
You wrote, in connection with Psalm 110,
In order to understand this scenario, imagine
you are facing three thrones ahead of you, with you standing behind them. The
ETERNAL is seated in the center Throne. The Priest is to ETERNAL's left hand
and David is to His right. Both ETERNAL and David are to the right of the Priest.
Psalm 110 reads,
A Psalm by David.
110:1Yahweh
says to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,
Until I make your enemies your footstool for
your feet."
110:2Yahweh
will send forth the rod of your strength out of
Rule in the midst of your enemies.
110:3Your
people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power,
In holy array.
Out of the womb of the morning, you have the
dew of your youth.
110:4Yahweh
has sworn, and will not change his mind:
"You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
110:5The
Lord is at your right hand.
He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
110:6He
will judge among the nations.
He will heap up dead bodies.
He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.
110:7He
will drink of the brook in the way;
Therefore will he lift up his head.
The Three Individuals
Mentioned In Psalm 110
Aren't 3 persons clearly mentioned in Psalm 110 - David, Yahweh and "my Lord"? Isn't David the person who wrote down this psalm, seeing it is titled "A psalm by David"? Isn't David therefore recording what was given to him by the Spirit - what he saw in vision?
Doesn't David clearly call the person Yahweh speaks to as MY Lord - meaning David's Lord? Isn't the one Yahweh tells to sit at his - Yahweh's - right hand David's Lord? Then why do you say that the person David son of Jesse calls his Lord is David son of Jesse? Was David David's Lord? Was David Lord over his own self? Does this make sense?
David Clearly Referred To
Himself When Quoting Yahweh's Words That He Understood Referred To Him - David
1 Kings 2:1-4 reads,
2:1Now
the days of David drew near that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son,
saying, 2:2I am going the way of
all the earth: be you strong therefore, and show yourself a man; 2:3and keep the charge of Yahweh your God, to
walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his
ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law
of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and wherever you turn yourself.
2:4That Yahweh may establish his
word which he spoke concerning me, saying, If your children take heed to their
way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul,
there shall not fail you (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
Doesn't 1 Kings 2:4 show that when David was quoting Yahweh in reference to himself - David - he clearly referred to himself rather than to someone else? Didn't he say "that Yahweh may establish his word which he spoke concerning me"?
1 Chronicles 22:6-10 reads,
22:6Then
he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for Yahweh, the
God of Israel. 22:7David said to
Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name
of Yahweh my God. 22:8But the
word of Yahweh came to me, saying, You have shed blood abundantly, and have
made great wars: you shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed
much blood on the earth in my sight. 22:9Behold,
a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him
rest from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and I
will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days: 22:10he shall build a house for my name; and he
shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of
his kingdom over Israel for ever.
Isn't it clear that when David spoke a word that Yahweh had spoken to him he clearly said so? Didn't he clearly refer to himself in Yahweh's words that concerned him?
1 Chronicles 28:1-10 reads,
28:1David
assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and
the captains of the companies who served the king by course, and the captains
of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, and the rulers over all the
substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officers, and
the mighty men, even all the mighty men of valor, to Jerusalem. 28:2Then David the king stood up on his feet,
and said, Hear me, my brothers, and my people: as for me, it was in my
heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for
the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building. 28:3But God said to me, You shall not
build a house for my name, because you are a man of war, and have shed blood. 28:4However Yahweh, the God of Israel, chose me
out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever: for he has
chosen Judah to be prince; and in the house of Judah, the house of my father;
and among the sons of my father he took pleasure in me to make me king over all
Israel; 28:5Of all my sons (for
Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the
throne of the kingdom of Yahweh over Israel. 28:6He
said to me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I
have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. 28:7I will establish his kingdom forever, if he
be constant to do my commandments and my ordinances, as at this day. 28:8Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel,
the assembly of Yahweh, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out
all the commandments of Yahweh your God; that you may possess this good land,
and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever. 28:9You, Solomon my son, know you the God of
your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for
Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the
thoughts: if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he
will cast you off forever. 28:10Take
heed now; for Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary: be
strong, and do it.
Again, doesn't David make clear references to himself in Yahweh's words that he spoke? Doesn't this show that David did not refer to another person in reference to a word Yahweh spoke with respect to him?
David Clearly Understood
That The Person Sitting At Yahweh's Right Hand Was His Sovereign
In Psalm 110:1 doesn't David clearly state that Yahweh spoke to HIS - David's - Lord? Doesn't he refer to himself in those words, but only in reference to the person Yahweh spoke to, this person being David's Lord? Isn't it therefore clear that David's Lord, the person Yahweh told to sit at Yahweh's right hand, is definitely NOT David the writer of Psalm 110, but a master or sovereign over David the writer of Psalm 110?
Then why do you say that David's Lord is not David's Lord but is David?
To Whom Did Yahweh Swear As
Recorded In Psalm 110:4?
Psalm 110:4 reads,
110:4Yahweh
has sworn, and will not change his mind:
"You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
To whom did Yahweh swear this? Who is the priest forever in the order of Melchizedek?
And what is the priestly order of Melchizedek?
Melchizedek Was Both
Righteous King And Priest
Genesis 14:18-20 reads,
14:18Melchizedek
king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was priest
of God Most High. 14:19He
blessed him, and said, "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of
heaven and earth: 14:20and blessed
be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand."
Abram gave him a tenth of all.
Isn't it clear that Melchizedek was BOTH king and priest - king of Salem and priest of Mighty One Most High? Isn't this what is clearly revealed about Melchizedek, that he was both king and priest? And doesn't Melchizedek mean king of righteousness? Isn't the order of Melchizedek priests therefore that of righteous priestly kings?
Are All Priests Of Yahweh
Kings?
Are all priests righteous kings? Are all priests of Yahweh righteous kings? Was Aaron the priest of Yahweh also a righteous king over Israel, or was he just a priest of Yahweh but not a righteous king over Israel? Wasn't Aaron just a priest of Yahweh without being king over Israel or a defined part of Israel? Isn't it therefore the case that the priestly order of Aaron was different from the priestly order of Melchizedek, seeing that the Aaronic priesthood did not have an accompanying kingly office?
The Person Yahweh Swears To
In Psalm 110:4 Is Both A Righteous King And A Priest
Seeing that the Melchizedek priesthood encapsulates BOTH righteous kingly and priestly duties, isn't it clear that the person that Yahweh swore to in Psalm 110:4 is BOTH a righteous king and a priest?
It Is David's Lord
Sitting At Yahweh's Right Hand To Whom Yahweh Swears In Psalm 110:4
Seeing that Yahweh has already spoken in Psalm 110:1-2 to David's Lord, that he is indeed a king ruling over others, isn't it the case that this very person is the one Yahweh has sworn to in 110:4? Isn't the prophesied Messianic ruler both a righteous king and priest, seeing that the encapsulation of both righteous kingship and priesthood is the identifying mark of the order of Melchizedek?
The Prophesied Messianic
Ruler Will Be King Of Salem Just As Melchizedek Was King Of Salem
Also, wasn't Melchizedek king of Salem? Won't the prophesied Messianic ruler in Israel also be king of Salem, seeing that Jerusalem will indeed be his headquarters? Isn't this another identifying sign that the prophesied Messianic ruler in Israel is indeed the priest forever after the order of Melchizedek?
David Talks To Yahweh In
Psalm 110:5
Psalm 110:5 reads,
110:5The
Lord is at your right hand.
He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
Isn't David here now talking to Yahweh, seeing that Yahweh had said in 110:1 that David's Lord should sit at his right hand?
Why do you suggest that David is speaking to a third person sitting to the left of Yahweh, when David makes no mention of any person sitting to Yahweh's left hand?
Is Elijah The Prophet The
Priest Mentioned In Zechariah 6:12-13?
You wrote,
The Prophet is Elijah and the Messiah is King
David, and together they are the Two Witnesses that bring Israel back from
captivity and bring them to repentance.
You have only asserted that the priest mentioned in Zechariah 6:12-13 is the Prophet. You have NOT proved from Scripture that the priest so mentioned is Elijah the prophet. The only authority for Elijah being the priest of both Zechariah 6 and Psalm 110 is your assertion, and not the Holy Scripture? Should your readers rely on your assertions for authority? Shouldn't they rather rely on Scripture - Yahweh's word - for authority?
Is Elijah The Prophet The
Priest In The Messianic Rule In Israel?
You quoted from Ezekiel 45:15-22 suggesting that the priest is Elijah and the king is David, both having been resurrected, and both being the two witnesses spoken of in Zechariah 4. Is this really so?
Yahweh Clearly Identifies
The Sons Of Zadok As His Priests In The Messianic Rule In Israel?
Ezekiel 40:44-46 reads,
40:44Outside
of the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner court, which was
at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south; one at
the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. 40:45He said to me, This chamber, whose
prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of
the house; 40:46and the chamber
whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the
charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the
sons of Levi come near to Yahweh to minister to him.
Ezekiel 43:18-19 reads,
43:18He
said to me, Son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh: These are the ordinances of
the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon,
and to sprinkle blood thereon. 43:19You
shall give to the priests the Levites who are of the seed of Zadok,
who are near to me, to minister to me, says the Lord Yahweh, a young bull
for a sin-offering.
Ezekiel 44:15-16 reads,
44:15But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of my
sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near
to me to minister to me; and they shall stand before me to offer to me the fat
and the blood, says the Lord Yahweh: 44:16they
shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to
minister to me, and they shall keep my charge.
Ezekiel 48:9-12 reads,
48:9The
offering that you shall offer to Yahweh shall be twenty-five thousand reeds in
length, and ten thousand in breadth. 48:10For
these, even for the priests, shall be the holy offering: toward the north
twenty-five thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south twenty-five
thousand in length: and the sanctuary of Yahweh shall be in the midst of it. 48:11It shall be for the priests who are
sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my charge, who didn’t go
astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
48:12It shall be to them an offering
from the offering of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites.
Isn't it clear that the priests to minister to Yahweh in Israel during the Messianic rule will be sanctified Levites of the sons of Zadok? Was Elijah the prophet a Levite of the sons of Zadok?
Elijah Was A Stranger In
Israel, Not Even A Physical Israelite!
1 Kings 17:1 reads,
17:1Elijah
the Tishbite, who was of the sojourners of Gilead, said to
Ahab, As Yahweh, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall not
be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
Isn't it clear that Elijah the prophet was of the sojourners of Gilead, sons of Manasseh? Doesn't this suggest that he probably wasn't even a physical Israelite, being a foreigner living in Israel? Doesn't this clearly show that he was no priest in Israel, seeing that he wasn't an Israelite, leave alone being a Levite of the sons of Aaron?
Yahweh Forbids Strangers
From Coming Near The Aaronic Priesthood
In your case for the Messiah you are at pains in your attempt to show the connection between the Messiah and David, drawing on promises given to David with respect to the Messiah. Why didn't you attempt even the same effort with respect to the priests serving Yahweh in the Messianic rule in Israel? Didn't Yahweh give the priesthood to Aaron and his sons forever? So why are you suggesting that a stranger to the priesthood will indeed take over the priesthood from those Yahweh has promised it to - forever?
Yahweh Gave Aaron And His
Sons An Everlasting Priesthood Throughout Their Generations
Exodus 29:9 reads,
29:9You
shall dress them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and bind headbands on
them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute:
and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.
Exodus 40:13-15 reads,
40:13You
shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him,
and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office. 40:14You shall bring his sons, and put
coats on them. 40:15You shall
anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the
priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting
priesthood throughout their generations.
Yahweh Forbids Strangers
From Eating The Holy Things Of Priests
Leviticus 22:10-15 reads,
22:10There
shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest’s, or a
hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. 22:11But if a priest buy any soul, the purchase
of his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall
eat of his bread. 22:12If a
priest’s daughter be married to a stranger, she shall not eat of the
heave-offering of the holy things. 22:13But
if a priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and be
returned to her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s
bread: but there shall no stranger eat of it. 22:14If a man eat of the holy thing
unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part of it to it, and shall give to
the priest the holy thing. 22:15They
shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer
to Yahweh, 22:16and so cause them to
bear the iniquity that brings guilt, when they eat their holy things: for I am
Yahweh who sanctifies them.
The Penalty For A Stranger
Coming Near The Priesthood Is Death
Numbers 3:10 reads,
3:10You
shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood. The
stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
Yahweh Killed 250 Strangers
For Coming Near The Priesthood
Numbers 16:35-40 reads,
16:35Fire
came forth from Yahweh, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the
incense. 16:36Yahweh
spoke to Moses, saying, 16:37Speak
to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the
burning, and scatter you the fire yonder; for they are holy, 16:38even the censers of these sinners
against their own lives; and let them be made beaten plates for a covering
of the altar: for they offered them before Yahweh; therefore they are holy; and
they shall be a sign to the children of Israel. 16:39Eleazar the priest took the brazen
censers, which those who were burnt had offered; and they beat them out for a
covering of the altar, 16:40to be
a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger, who isn’t
of the seed of Aaron, comes near to burn incense before Yahweh; that he not
be as Korah, and as his company: as Yahweh spoke to him by Moses.
Elijah The Prophet Is
Excluded From Being An Aaronic Priest In Israel
Isn't it clear from Yahweh's word that no stranger - anyone not of the seed of Aaron - is forbidden from coming near Yahweh to perform priestly duties or partake of priestly food? Doesn't this CONCLUSIVELY rule out Elijah the prophet, a stranger in Israel, from being the priest that you have portrayed him to be in the Messianic rule in Israel?
The Prince Of Ezekiel 45 Is
NOT The Messianic Ruler Over Israel
Ezekiel 45 reads,
45:1Moreover,
when you shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, you shall offer an
offering to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land; the length shall be the length
of twenty-five thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand: it shall
be holy in all the border of it round about. 45:2Of
this there shall be for the holy place five hundred in length by five hundred
in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits for the suburbs of it round
about. 45:3Of this measure shall you
measure a length of twenty-five thousand, and a breadth of ten thousand: and in
it shall be the sanctuary, which is most holy. 45:4It
is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of
the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh; and it shall be a place for
their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary. 45:5Twenty-five
thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall be to the Levites, the
ministers of the house, for a possession to themselves, for twenty chambers. 45:6You shall appoint the possession of the city
five thousand broad, and twenty-five thousand long, side by side with the
offering of the holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.
45:7Whatever
is for the prince shall be on the one side and on the other side of the
holy offering and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy offering
and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on
the east side eastward; and in length answerable to one of the portions, from
the west border to the east border. 45:8In
the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes shall
no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of
Israel according to their tribes. 45:9Thus
says the Lord Yahweh: Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove
violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my
people, says the Lord Yahweh.
45:10You
shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath. 45:11The ephah and the bath shall be of one
measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the
tenth part of a homer: the measure of it shall be after the homer. 45:12The shekel shall be twenty gerahs. Twenty
shekels plus twenty-five shekels plus fifteen shekels shall be your mina.
45:13This
is the offering that you shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer
of wheat; and you shall give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley;
45:14and the set portion of oil, of
the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, which is ten baths,
even a homer; (for ten baths are a homer;) 45:15and
one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of
Israel; -for a meal-offering, and for a burnt offering, and for
peace-offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Lord Yahweh. 45:16All the people of the land shall give to
this offering for the prince in Israel.
45:17It
shall be the prince’s part to give the burnt offerings, and the
meal-offerings, and the drink-offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons,
and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he
shall prepare the sin-offering, and the meal-offering, and the burnt offering,
and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.
45:18Thus
says the Lord Yahweh: In the first month, in the first day of the month, you
shall take a young bull without blemish; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary. 45:19The priest shall take of the blood of
the sin-offering, and put it on the door-posts of the house, and on the
four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the
inner court. 45:20So you shall do
on the seventh day of the month for everyone who errs, and for him who is
simple: so shall you make atonement for the house. 45:21In the first month, in the fourteenth day
of the month, you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened
bread shall be eaten. 45:22On
that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the
land a bull for a sin-offering. 45:23The
seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to Yahweh, seven
bulls and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a male goat
daily for a sin-offering. 45:24He
shall prepare a meal-offering, an ephah for a bull, and an ephah for a ram, and
a hin of oil to an ephah. 45:25In
the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, shall he do
the like the seven days; according to the sin-offering, according to the
burnt offering, and according to the meal-offering, and according to the oil.
Doesn't Yahweh make clear in 45:8-9 that he will have PRINCES - plural - over his people Israel? Doesn't he also make clear that they will not then oppress the people as previous princes in Israel oppressed the people by taking from them the land of their inheritance? Doesn't this suggest that the prince over his people as referred to in Ezekiel 45 is NOT the prophesied Messianic ruler, but a lesser ruler ruling under the authority of the prophesied Messianic prince? Doesn't this suggest that these lesser rulers will exist for a period of time, even as past kings or princes of Israel existed for a period of time, only to be succeeded by others?
The Princes Of Ezekiel 45
And The People Of Israel Will Be Committing Sins
Doesn't Ezekiel 45 make clear that the people of Israel, including their prince, will still be committing sins, thereby necessitating their offering sin offerings to facilitate their atonement or forgiveness? Doesn't this suggest that these will be human beings pretty much like other human beings before them - people who sin and eventually die?
Animal Sacrifices Will Be
Offered In The Messianic Rule For The Atonement Of The Sinning People Of Israel
Leviticus 4 reads,
4:1Yahweh
spoke to Moses, saying, 4:2"Speak
to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of
the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them:
4:3if the anointed priest sins so as
to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he has
sinned, a young bull without blemish to Yahweh for a sin offering. 4:4He shall bring the bull to the door of the
Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the
bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh. 4:5The
anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull, and bring it to the
Tent of Meeting. 4:6The priest shall
dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before
Yahweh, before the veil of the sanctuary. 4:7The
priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense
before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and he shall pour out all the
blood of the bull out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at
the door of the Tent of Meeting. 4:8He
shall take all the fat of the bull of the sin offering off of it; the fat that
covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards, 4:9and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he
shall take away, 4:10as it is taken
off of the ox of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them
on the altar of burnt offering. 4:11The
bull’s skin, all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, its innards, and
its dung, 4:12even the whole bull
shall he carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are
poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out it
shall be burned.
4:13"‘If
the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of
the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded
not to be done, and are guilty; 4:14when
the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a
young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting. 4:15The elders of the congregation shall lay
their hands on the head of the bull before Yahweh; and the bull shall be killed
before Yahweh. 4:16The anointed
priest shall bring of the blood of the bull to the Tent of Meeting: 4:17and the priest shall dip his finger in the
blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Yahweh, before the veil. 4:18He shall put some of the blood on the horns
of the altar which is before Yahweh, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the
rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering,
which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. 4:19All
its fat he shall take from it, and burn it on the altar. 4:20Thus shall he do with the bull; as he did
with the bull of the sin offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest
shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven. 4:21He shall carry forth the bull outside the
camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the
assembly.
4:22"‘When
a ruler sins, and unwittingly does any one of all the things which Yahweh his
God has commanded not to be done, and is guilty; 4:23if
his sin, in which he has sinned, is made known to him, he shall bring as his
offering a goat, a male without blemish. 4:24He
shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they
kill the burnt offering before Yahweh. It is a sin offering. 4:25The priest shall take some of the blood of
the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt
offering. He shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of
burnt offering. 4:26All its fat he
shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and
the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be
forgiven.
4:27"‘If
anyone of the common people sins unwittingly, in doing any of the things which
Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and is guilty; 4:28if his sin, which he has sinned, is made
known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without
blemish, for his sin which he has sinned. 4:29He
shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill the sin offering
in the place of burnt offering. 4:30The
priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and put it on the horns of
the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the
base of the altar. 4:31All its fat
he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from off of the sacrifice of
peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a sweet savor to
Yahweh; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.
4:32"‘If
he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female
without blemish. 4:33He shall lay
his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the
place where they kill the burnt offering. 4:34The
priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and
put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and all the rest of its
blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar. 4:35All
its fat he shall take away, like the fat of the lamb is taken away from the
sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, on
the offerings of Yahweh made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement
for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.
Doesn't Leviticus 4 show that sin offerings are offered by those who commit sins, that atonement be made for them and they be forgiven? Doesn't this therefore show that the prince in Ezekiel 45 and the people of Israel at that time will be committing sins?
Will The Messianic Ruler
Over Israel Be Committing Sins During His Rule?
Are you saying that the resurrected Messianic ruler will be committing sins and therefore will need to make his own sin offerings? Doesn't one, if he relies on your word that the prophesied Messianic ruler is the prince mentioned in Ezekiel 45, conclude that he will still sin after his resurrection? And what will happen after he has sinned?
Isn't Death The Penalty
Yahweh Inflicts For Sin?
Genesis 2:16-17 reads,
2:16Yahweh
God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely
eat: 2:17but of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you
eat of it you will surely die."
Didn't Yahweh show humans that the penalty for disobeying his word - sin - is death? Haven't humans been dying ever since our first parents sinned against Yahweh?
The Princes And People Of Israel
Will Be Dying During The Messianic Rule
Seeing that both the children of Israel and their prince(s) will be committing sins at the time of Ezekiel 45, isn't it the case that they will indeed by dying eventually, and will not be living forever?
Will The Messianic Ruler
Die On Account Of His Own Sins During His Messianic Rule?
Seeing that you say that the prince of Ezekiel 45 is the prophesied Messianic ruler, are you suggesting also that he will die, and will not live forever? But if he does not live forever how will the prophesied promises be fulfilled, of Yahweh establishing his kingdom throne in Israel forever? Are you suggesting that Yahweh will raise David from the dead, give him rule over Israel as in the past, and then when David dies, because David will be sinning and offering sin offerings, his descendants will rule in his place? Are you suggesting that this is the manner that David's kingdom throne will be established in Israel, without Israel being uprooted from their land, because they will avoid committing abominable sins that might cause Yahweh to remove them from their land? If this is so, then what really is the point of Yahweh raising David to life again, only to see David die again because he will be committing sins just like other human beings?
Is It Idolatry To
Acknowledge The Existence Of TWO Yahwehs, Both Called Mighty One?
You wrote,
Did you notice the word
"monotheistic?" It means that there is only one ETERNAL CREATOR, not three
as in most of Christianity who worship a god-man crucified deity somehow made
up of three beings. WCGanity has simplified the three-beings-in-one to
two-beings-in-one, but that is still one too many. Thus they all pray TO
or THROUGH 'Jesus or Mary,' and that puts some other god before
the one true CREATOR. They worship at the feet of other gods in place of the
one true ETERNAL CREATOR, the Holy One of Israel--and that is Israel's big sin.
I agree with you that Yahweh is TOTALLY AGAINST idolatry, and that idolatry is the fundamental reason he punishes those whom he punishes.
Earlier on I showed you from various scriptures in Genesis that the angel of Yahweh is also called Yahweh. This angel was the Mighty One of Abraham, the Mighty One of Isaac and the Mighty One of Israel. This is the person they worshipped. Seeing that he is an angel he is indeed a messenger of another one, a person superior in authority. This other person superior in authority to the angel of Yahweh is also called Yahweh. He is also referred to as Mighty One - the Most High, even as seen in Genesis 14:18-20! Do you accept the scriptural record that there are indeed TWO Yahwehs, both called Mighty One, with the greater Yahweh being the Most High and the lesser Yahweh being the angel of Yahweh? Do you say that Abraham, Isaac and Israel were guilty of idolatry, for calling the angel of Yahweh their Mighty One, even as Israel did in Genesis 48:15-16?
Or do you now accept that you must change your belief and teaching, that even though the angel of Yahweh was the Mighty One of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and lesser in status to Yahweh the Most High, they were not guilty of idolatry for having this angel as their Mighty One?
Isn't The Author Accusing
The Fathers, Abraham, Isaac And Jacob, Of Idolatry?
You wrote,
The Jews' religion of "Judaism" is
only a hollow shell of the Hebrew religion of the Fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob. In addition, it contains many remnants of paganism remaining from their
captivity in Babylon--and that is Judah's big sin.
Considering the various comments you have made, it appears to me that your religion is different in some respects from that of the fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Would you therefore describe your religion as "only a hollow shell of the Hebrew religion of the Fathers", as you do of the Jews' religion? For example, when one of the fathers, Jacob, says that their Mighty One was the angel of Yahweh, and therefore subsidiary to Yahweh, isn't their religion different from yours? Seeing that you say that it is idolatry for anyone who has for his Mighty One anyone apart from the Most High, aren't you suggesting that your religion is superior to that of the fathers, with that of the fathers being idolatry and yours supposedly being the pure unadulterated religion? Haven't you by this condemned the fathers, and made yourself more righteous than them? But in this condemnation are you in the right, seeing that Yahweh said the following to Isaac in Genesis 26:2-5? It reads,
26:2Yahweh
appeared to him, and said, "Don’t go down into Egypt. Dwell in
the land which I will tell you of. 26:3Sojourn
in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you. For to you, and to
your seed, I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I
swore to Abraham your father. 26:4I
will multiply your seed as the stars of the sky, and will give to your seed all
these lands. In your seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, 26:5because Abraham obeyed my voice, and
kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
Manoah And His Wife Equated
The Angel Of Yahweh With The Mighty One
I'll give you another example, from Judges 13. It reads,
13:1The
children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh; and
Yahweh delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
13:2There
was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was
Manoah; and his wife was barren, and didn’t bear. 13:3The angel of Yahweh appeared to the woman,
and said to her, See now, you are barren, and don’t bear; but you shall
conceive, and bear a son. 13:4Now
therefore please beware and drink no wine nor strong drink, and don’t eat any
unclean thing: 13:5for, behold, you
shall conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head; for the
child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb: and he shall begin to save
Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
13:6Then
the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me, and
his face was like the face of the angel of God, very awesome; and I didn’t ask
him whence he was, neither did he tell me his name: 13:7but he said to me, Behold, you shall
conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, and eat not
any unclean thing; for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to
the day of his death.
13:8Then
Manoah entreated Yahweh, and said, Oh, Lord, please let the
man of God whom you did send come again to us, and teach us what we shall
do to the child who shall be born. 13:9God
listened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again to
the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah, her husband, wasn’t
with her. 13:10The woman made haste,
and ran, and told her husband, and said to him, Behold, the man has appeared to
me, who came to me the other day. 13:11Manoah
arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said to him, Are you
the man who spoke to the woman? He said, I am. 13:12Manoah
said, Now let your words happen: what shall be the ordering of the child, and
how shall we do to him? 13:13The
angel of Yahweh said to Manoah, Of all that I said to the woman let her
beware. 13:14She may not eat of
anything that comes of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink,
nor eat any unclean thing; all that I commanded her let her observe. 13:15Manoah said to the angel of Yahweh, I
pray you, let us detain you, that we may make ready a kid for you. 13:16The angel of Yahweh said to Manoah,
Though you detain me, I won’t eat of your bread; and if you will make ready
a burnt offering, you must offer it to Yahweh. For Manoah didn’t know that
he was the angel of Yahweh. 13:17Manoah
said to the angel of Yahweh, What is your name, that when your words
happen, we may honor you? 13:18The
angel of Yahweh said to him, Why do you ask after my name, seeing it is
wonderful? 13:19So Manoah took the
kid with the meal-offering, and offered it on the rock to Yahweh: and
the angel did wondrously, and Manoah and his wife looked on. 13:20For it happened, when the flame went up toward
the sky from off the altar, that the angel of Yahweh ascended in the flame
of the altar: and Manoah and his wife looked on; and they fell on their
faces to the ground. 13:21But the
angel of Yahweh did no more appear to Manoah or to his wife. Then Manoah
knew that he was the angel of Yahweh.
13:22Manoah
said to his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. 13:23But his wife said to him, If Yahweh
were pleased to kill us, he wouldn’t have received a burnt offering and a
meal-offering at our hand, neither would he have shown us all these things, nor
would at this time have told such things as these. 13:24The woman bore a son, and named him Samson: and the
child grew, and Yahweh blessed him. 13:25The
Spirit of Yahweh began to move him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
Doesn't 13:22 show that Manoah and his wife clearly understood that the angel of Yahweh whom they had seen was indeed Mighty One? Doesn't this confirm the belief of father Jacob that the angel of Yahweh was indeed the Mighty One of Abraham, the Mighty One of Isaac and his own Mighty One? Isn't it clearly seen that the angel of Yahweh is indeed Mighty One?
Manoah Prayed To Yahweh -
The Mighty One
Doesn't 13:8 clearly show that Manoah entreated Yahweh, asking Yahweh to send the person whom he had sent?
Yahweh - The Mighty One -
Is Greater Than The Angel Of Yahweh
Doesn't 13:9 clearly show that Yahweh - the Mighty One - listened to the voice of Manoah and sent his angel - the angel of Yahweh - the angel of the Mighty One - again to Manoah's wife? Doesn't this clearly show that Yahweh, the sender, is the Mighty One? Doesn't this also show that the angel of Yahweh - the angel of the Mighty One - the sent, is under Yahweh's authority, seeing that he does Yahweh's bidding?
Both Yahweh And The Angel
Of Yahweh Are Each Called Mighty One
Seeing that 13:22 shows that the angel of Yahweh is Mighty One, and seeing that 13:8-9 shows that Yahweh is the Mighty One, isn't it clearly seen that there are indeed TWO personages, BOTH referred to as "Mighty One"? Isn't it clear that of those called Mighty One there is Yahweh and his angel, the angel of Yahweh? Isn't it also clear that Yahweh is superior in authority to the angel of Yahweh, seeing that Yahweh is the one who sends the angel of Yahweh?
The Angel Of Yahweh
Acknowledged That Yahweh Is Superior To Him
Didn't the angel of Yahweh himself allude to Yahweh being greater than he is in 13:16? Didn't he advise Manoah to offer his sacrifice to Yahweh rather than to him - the angel of Yahweh? Doesn't this imply that the angel of Yahweh acknowledged that Yahweh was indeed superior to him?
Does Scripture Support The
Anglo-Israel Theory?
You wrote,
To tie this back to the very beginning when it
was stated that Ezekiel would have the freedom to walk among the captives back
then, and he will in the latter time also:
"Then when I have scattered them among the
nations and dispersed them through the countries, they shall know that I am
ETERNAL. But I will spare a few of them from the sword, from famine, and from
pestilence, that they may recount all their abominable deeds among the nations
to which they come; and they shall know that I am ETERNAL!" (Ezekiel
12:15-16)
Your view is that Israelites are made up of Anglo-Saxons, the collection of peoples clearly identifiable in given geographical locations. But what does Ezekiel 12:15 say? Doesn't Yahweh say that he is to scatter and disperse Israelites among the NATIONS - plural, through the countries? Doesn't this indicate, as is the nature of what is scattered, that they are to be spread in various tiny amounts among various nations? Doesn't this indicate that it is more likely for one to find Israelites in small pockets over several nations, as befitting people who have been scattered, rather than as large collections of people collectively called Anglo-Saxons?
