James 1:26-27 reads,
1:26If
anyone among you thinks himself to be religious, while he doesn’t bridle his
tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless. 1:27Pure religion and undefiled before our God
and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
How does one keep oneself unstained by the world?
In the world exist sin and unrighteousness, faithlessness and callousness. These are the stains of the world. To avoid being stained by the world one must cease from these stains or worldly ways. One must believe in Yah'shuah as Yahweh's anointed or Christ/Messiah. One must love Yah'shuah, and manifest this love by observing Yah'shuah's commandments, which are, in reality, Yahweh's commandments, seeing that Yah'shuah does not speak his own words, but only what he receives and hears from his Father Yahweh.
